My custom coop arrived and it was wrong :(

Oh I understand that! Now, almost 8 years later, I need both knees replaced and there's no way I could do it again. When the kit part gives out, I'd like to wall off one corner of the run and add the box with legs thats still good back on. But that's too ambitious for the conditon I'm in. (I need both knees replaced, long story) anything like that is not something I could take on now. The kits aren't as bad as some say. I got an amazing deal after lookng on line. About $200, delivered. But it was just so small. If it says 6 hens, they really means 2 or 3. I have all these big plans, but limping around is not too helpful, so it can wait. This is really simple, but i have used white plastic barells I got for free, laid on their sides, between bricks to for a rooster that needed bachelor pad after getting agressive with my daughter. Nice layer of hay makes a decent temporary home. Post pictures when you get it all set up a :)

Ordered a custom coop through a local feed store, but when it was delivered we realized they forgot to do half of the things we requested, and messed up a couple of the other things, so they picked it up today. Now I have 10 homeless chickens :-/. Probably going to have to buy a TEMPORARY set up until we can get or build what we want. This is what I can get a hold of this week (the owner was super nice about speeding things up for me). I do want to have a much larger coop area for my permanent set up, so if anyone has some good plans they can point me to for a 6x6 or 6x8 coop Id appreciate it (or a place I can purchase one this isn't insanely expensive) My hopes is to add onto this coop/run so I don’t work have to waste money. I also need to buy an automatic door

thanks

This is not the coop you ordered, you ordered a 6x10 solid coop which we delivered and you painted and stained after accepting delivery. If you would like we can post the entire conversation including your last second changes and and the fact we expedited the build because of your situation. You never got back to us about the extended run nor additional ventilation which you espouse to in this post. Had you gotten with us we could have seen to your needs and concerns. But, thank you for choosing Kroeger's Critter Keepers for your needs.

I don't think anyone is hating on y'all.
They did state that the coop shown was a different one than the one they ordered and they never posted pics of the one from your company.
They did post that they were refunded and that speaks well to your customer service especially knowing they had painted/stained after accepting delivery.

I wouldn't worry to much about bad press.
