how dumb are they you ask?
They get stuck in wide open spaces cause when they get into a corner, like a corner of a fence,they fixate strait ahead , running back and forth endlessly trying to get out through that corner and can not see that they're not trapped at all, that they're just gotta turn around and walk out of where they are.
