My daughter just hit a deer....

My 17yr old daughter hit a deer and is very upset because it looks as though she was nursing a fawn. I reassured her that there was nothing she could have done because the deer came out of now where. My daughters fine...just a bit shook up. The police came out filed a report and my husband is gutting the deer, theres not reason she should just lay along the road....poor girl

wow..i am glad you daughter is okay!....poor thing..she must be a wreck!....i know i would be...and..you are right..no sense in wasting the meat....i wonder though...if the fawn would still be around somewhere?..if you were able to find it and nurse it...that would help her feel better,maybe?..i hope everything turns out okay..Wendy

sure, i feel bad for the deer!!...but..accidents happen...and her daughter is fine..thats what matters at this point.

I hit a deer when I was 17 too. It t must be a new driver rite of passage.

I was going over 65... totaled my car!

It was soooooo scarry. It happened so fast!

Poor thing. She (and you... maybe not your car!) Will be just fine!
