My ex-wife and I were in the shower. She would run her fingers through her hair to help get out the loose strands, but this time, she got the strands wet and rolled them into a flat pat, about the size of a half dollar. She put the little hair-clog on the back of my shoulder then shouted "THERESASPIDERONYOU!!!" Out of the corner of my eye, it was huge and (obviously) hairy.

Hilarity ensued. I think, at one point, I may have tried to climb her. That episode should have been mentioned in the divorce papers.

Spiders may be involved. And what is not being mentioned is that the "surprise" may not be enjoyable. In fact, if the surprise *is* enjoyable, something truly horrible is probably about to happen.

You might get a big, gift-wrapped box of her babies:

That is too funny! Folks in my family are scared of birds too. My Mom was terrified of chickens and all other tame birds. She came to visit me once, and one of my Cockatiels got out of it's cage and landed on her head!! Didn't know one small, white woman could jump so high, or make that kind of high pitched scream!!!!!!!!!! She was running in circles around the living room with this bird still on her head. I was laughing so hard I could barely stand up. She sure as heck wasn't about to go see the chickens we had outside. That fear seems to run in families, her Mom was scared of birds too. Everyone has "their fear", so if DH is building you a great coop, I'd keep the story to myself and not embarrass him in front of his buddies. He may in time, come around, but usually these fears are for life.
