I do still love them, but Ella is like 'WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!?!"...


Day... uhh... 22? I lost count..

Today was painfully hot. I did get an ice cube though! It was big and juicy and delicious! Malibu's father held me, and all of the sudden, these sharp things took my first few flight feathers on my left wing OFF!!! What was that for?! I let Malibu know that I did -not- like the feather-cut. I'll have to preen it out, I guess. Oh yay. More preening. I do it every 5 minutes anyways, so I guess I'll just have to do it every 4 minutes until my feathers get straightened out. Does Malibu still love me?! Or did she cut my feathers to show me she doesn't?!!? She did it to the other chickens too. Does she no longer love us? I love her. No matter what. Oh look. A butterfl- (Malibu note- Ella had an ADD moment there...
