Did she get out, by means of flew the coop? Cause Junior found a hole that only she can get out of (since she's a bantam) so she's out all day, and my other chickens are so jealous.

Day 23

Today was LOUD!! It was the 'fourth of july'. I had a 'Ella is three months old' party!


The Pecker Recker was the main attraction for the Big Girls.

I got a hat (which I ate before Malibu could take a picture.) It was SOO MUCH FUN!!!!



There are fireworks everywhere and very loud. I hate them! They scare me so badly.

Looks like we might have to give Ella away. She was getting beat up by all the others today- worse than ever.

I've tried:

Putting her in when they're sleeping (didn't work)
Cage next to run for a month (isn't working)
Just leaving her in (Didn't work)
Free-ranging (Had to chase her down, she ran)

I'd take her if I lived closer Have you tried seperating her to a section of the coop and run so that they could see her but not pick on her?

Day 24

Today was really fun. The big girls pecked me though.. And it wasn't Petrie. I was sad, because that means that either I get my own coop or I move to a new home and don't get to see her again. But the fun part was: I got a strawberry. ALL OVER my face!! I faceplated into the dirt, and Fluffy died!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were feathers everywhere and I was very sad. I still have a feather from her though. I'll miss you, Fluffy. The only thing that made today good was the strawberry. I hope I get one tomorrow
