hows that cinder block heater working still? im looking to get something going again as winter here and the dog dish that was heated i used last year is broken now.

I may be doing something not quite right, but the temperatures here just dropped to 29 and my water was frozen when I got home from work using this same design. I'm using a 60 watt bulb and I've checked to ensure it's still working. My water jug is metal though, and that may make the difference. I'd love to hear from anyone else that has used this though to see how they are fairing!!
