I was cleaning out their coop and my dog got in the pen. Well when I got him out I noticed my little bantan got out and was being chased by my other 2 dogs. Then all three had her pinned down. I picked her up and put her back in. She was breathing heavy, but I picked her up I did not see any blood and she was walking around. Should I be worried or will she be ok? I am a mess thinking about if she is hurt. Does she need sometime to bounce back?

I would keep her separated for a bit and give her food and water and a comfy place to rest. She could instinctively be hiding injuries due to the shock of it all. It wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on her and give her some time to recover.

Chickens can get in shock really easily, but I think you should just keep her with the others, but keep watch on her. Separating her may make her feel even more scared. But yeah...if the others start to peck her injuries (if she has any) separate her

She’s probably super scared and maybe in shock. I’d keep her with them but maybe in a dog crate so that she can see them but stay safe as well. Just keep a close eye on her because as it was said before she might be hiding her injuries—chickens are very good at that. I’m sure she’ll be fine!

Thanks guys. This is so heart breaking I feel like I have failed my babies. I can't be mad at my dogs either he was just doing what his breed does. I am just going to be extra careful now.

I will keep an eye on her

Your very fortunate to have found out so fast...or else a bantam with such a size...could of been injured very badly.
