Is she holding the leg up or dragging it? With a leg injury, it is important to limit her activity by placing her in a pen with food and water. This could be for a week or two weeks depending on how she does. First though, look for any break in the skin, swelling, redness, or swollen joints. If it looks like a broken bone, then splinting may help.
It may not need splinting unless it is broken, and you can sometimes see displaced bones or severe bruising. Just forcing her to rest it in a small space may help it heal. You can place the cage or pen in the coop and run with the other chickens, so that she doesn't lose her place in the flock.
