How cute! I have a poodle too and she loves chicks! She likes to cuddle them in her bed. She even tries to steal chicks from my broody mama hen.

Yep, she is a rescue, so she has a lot of issues. She was starved and abused and God only knows what else. She will not let me out of her site. If my mom takes her down to the car, she will cry until I get there. She is heaven sent. She came along at a time I was very very depressed, and now I don't know what I would do without her.

The whole neediness thing is inbred in poodles. My mom has a poochon - bichon poodle mix - looks like a bichon, acts like a poodle. And I LOVE that dog so much!!!! they are so loyal and loveable. But God forbid if I try to pet the cat when she is around.

I know, Gnocchi will start shaking with jelousy when I play with any other animal! She HATES going to my parents house because there are chickens and cats and dogs and kittens that all get attention while she has to sit on my dads lap all night

Can you imagine that abuse?!

She goes with me everywhere. While I am in class, she sits in her bag or on my lap and sleeps or eats her bone. One time in class I hear a SQWEEK SQWEEK. She was chomping on her squeeker!

We don't bring that to class anymore!
