My Dog is so depressed!

Yes he is! since our Chickens had to go on vacation last week due to legal mumble jumble. Bob is not eating and keeps looking in the run for the girls.

I feel so bad for him

Two years ago we had one of dog hit by a car, Unfortunately she died. Bob wouldn't eat for over three months, or get up for anything. Now his girls are gone! He keeps looking ...... for them.

How sad! Make a tape recording of their sounds and play it for him.

Sounds like it's time for a companion pup. Just look at that face. He needs a furbuddy. So get to puppy hunting already.

WriterofWords is right. That always helps my girl when we go on vacation.....and she acts just like your boy. Doesnt matter if we are gone 5 minutes, or a whole week....she wont eat (food or treats!), hardly drinks, and wont hardly move....for anything. She also did this when we had to put down our first cat, and is always worried when either of the two current cats go missing/ect.

Poor boy. Give him a good petting for me.

Was at scbatz33 yesterday. She had a Chicken swap (it's what I'll call it).
picked up two Chicks and a sweet little duck. Bob (our dog) is looking happier.

and I'm going to go get my chickens back ... screw (opps can I say that) The neighbors!

It is not against the law in the ordinance.

Awww. I just noticed my little dog being upset about our chickens this morning. We moved them out to the coop yesterday and she came into the bathroom where their brooder was kept and searched for them. I think she thinks they're gone!
