My dog's in surgery....keep me busy!

My dog, who just had a c-section...is in surgery...again!
We came in from church, and some of her stitches was open...a little was hanging OUT!! Am waiting on the vet to call...
Someone keep me busy!

dont know...it's been 30 minutes now...he's looking for why it failed.

I will. Thank you. She is the most precious little friend. She is my shadow. I feel her little cold nose on my heels all day long.

Did she have stitches or staples? A funny lamp-shade collar? She may have pulled them out herself, happens all the time. One time we had a female that was spayed, she came back the next day as she had opened the stitches and had eaten her own innards!!! EWWWW!!!! That was not a fun surgery, let me tell you!!!
How much was sticking out? Quite a bit, or just a inch or two? Maybe one of the internal stitches failed. Luckily, it is a fairly common occurence, and she should make a complete recovery soon. They should put her on some antibiotics to ward off any infection, and keep her very quiet for the next day or two! Good luck!!! Steph

Hi, stitches. Don't think she did it herself, but ?? The vet didn't seem to think it was that either....no collar...she's taking care of little puppies...she is the best mother!
They were sticking out about 1"...
Will let you know....I've been pacing...
