My duck breathing fast while her mouth is open but...

Hi! My duck breathing so fast while her mouth is open. It's very hot here.The air temperature at noon is about 43 degrees.and i know it's too hot for them. But one of my ducks breathing fast even this morning while the temprature was 27 degrees.She have waterbelly also.for rest of her body I don't drain her water for 2 month. Now i don't know what is her problem. I'm sorry for my poor english.
Any help?

Yes she has.But she scares of swimming.So i wet her every 3 hours.She seems too sleepy also.

If it is super hot, cool her down! Ducks do not take heat very well.

When you provide water for her with Something in it so she can stand if she‘s scared to swim she will be gratefull. they are waterfowl after all. Maybe at first she is afraid because it’s new so give her time to adjust (you can put a brick just underneath the waterline and put her on top of it.) She will start swimming.
