My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Are they really a challenge? I thought these didnt like us just because they were already full grown

Keep putting iodine on his belly button, It looks all good and scabbed up. it should fall off as he gets bigger. he looks very alert and ready to do. I would avoid swimming lessons for his first week to give him enough time to produce his own oils..

I wouldn't have let him swim until the outtie falls off... Just figured that it wasn't too much different than my human kids
