OMG, that's SOOO FUNNY. LOLI only just put him in there 10 mins ago.. His box was in the brooder with them but I cleaned it up and removed his box... The one in the water dish was actually "swimming" in circles around the jar![]()
The others will insprire him to eat and drink better, are you putting poultry drench and or a Vitamin B complete in the water?
Neither, I am going into town tomorrow. I was in the feed & seed Saturday and they told me they don't carry niacin. Which I can't remember now what it's used for but wanted some on hand. The woman there told me just water and starter feed is all they need.... The last several times I have been in there, I haven't been too happy
If you look though in the ingrediants there is Niacin in the food already, just not quite enough. Even Chickens need Niacin. Does wonders for those little legs..I am so tempted to go to EVERY store in town that carries ducklings and make sure they know about niacin requirements for ducklings. So many people being given incorrect information about duckling food by feed store employees.
Argh.![]()
LMAO! I love the duck in the dish why would I ignore something so cute! And I know, I have an assortment of feeders. with the box I had him in, it was hard to fit anything bigger in and give everyone room. Like I said my usual brooder has4 week old bantams in it because befor the hubby left for work he didn't fix my bitty coop. ( a limb from our pecan tree smashed it one December night. No one in it of course, but the limb was large enough to be its own small tree. Ruined my roof on my adult duck coop too!)
