hey guys i just went out to go put up my ducks when i noticed he was limping. when i was checking him i saw he’s entire back foot nail was cut clean from his toe. will it grow back in time?is this the reason why he might have been limping? and should i put some sort of medicine gel on it to help the healing? thank you

To me, it looks like the nail was pulled off a while ago, not recent, I can't see any open wound to indicate otherwise.

Could you take a video of her limp, upload it a video platform like Youtube or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here?

Just like to get an idea of how bad it is. :D

Probably got it caught on something and broke it off. Could definitely be whatever is causing the limp too. I’d just keep an eye on him for a few days. It should be fine. And grow back, I think!
thank you i’ll definitely make sure to look out for him

Looks like she has a little bit of Pigeon-Toedness going on, likely from a deficiency in niacin (B3). Pekins are quite susceptible to it. For more info regarding treatment, you can read this thread.

thank you so much i did more research like you suggested and i couldn’t see it being anything else but pigeon toedness. so on going to tractor supply for supplements should that help him heal!
