My duck is not quacking

So basically my duck just stopped quacking he was quaking for a long time and then his quack was loud but scratchy but then it was quiet but scratchy then today he stopped quacking does anyone know what to do or know if this is harmful to the duck

Do you know if your Duck is a boy or girl? And how old? A male duck has a low raspy sounding quack. They aren't loud at all.
Has it stopped making any sounds at all? Perhaps it has just lost its baby peeping sound.
