My duck is sick. I need help on trying to help him

In retrospect, he may have had an infection. No way to know without a necropsy.

There is a sticky about suggestions for a ducky medicine chest - among the suggestions is to keep some antibiotics on hand for when they may have infections. I don't recommend using them for any little thing, but sometimes you need them.

Poultry vitamins with electrolytes and probiotics can be used at the first sign of trouble to try to boost the immune system.

With ducks, remember that often they show no symptoms till things are very serious.

Thank you I really appreciate your help. We went to tractor supply today and checked out some of the meds they have available. I have one more question....since we had this illness with one of 30 ducks....should we wait a certain time period before eating any eggs to be sure that there is no more sickness amongst out flock ?

I would not be too concerned. But we each must do what we are comfortable doing. You could have a stool test done, to check for pathogens.
