my duck just hacthed :)

I just had my first duck hatch in my incubator. But now his legs are shaking like crazy is this normal.

o and he pooped but still his back is cconnected to the egg.

Just leave him in the bator until hes fluffy and dry , be sure to talk to him though

I am geeting very worried we letf him in there all night from 9 when he hatched to 7 this morning and he is still not very fluffy and is not standing is this ok? He is still moving alot and make sound.

Okay at about this time i would make sure everything was warm and i would wear warm cloths just to be sure he will be kind of warm.

Personally i would take him out and just hold him a bit let him know he is safe, dont keep him out too long he needs to go into a brooder, but just let him know that moms there.

yeah but it might just be a bit delayed, just get him in the brooder after ya love on him a bit he should start standing soon.

The duck did not make it past this afternoon and i have call duck pairs that is where the eggs came from. Thank you for all your help

Im so sorry, i have lost very few ducklings and only gave you the best of my advice

literally mourning over this poor duckling that i never met. I hope that you have some more bright ducklings in your future
