My duck made a nest outside?

I've noticed that one of my Khaki Campbells has made a nest outside by digging a hole in a stump. She's been sitting on them for the past week or so. She won't go inside the coop, but I'm worried about her getting injured. Would it be best to leave the nest alone until it hatches? What do I do when/if it hatches? Do the hatching times vary by the species? (The drake is a Pekin)

Pretty common for ducks to lay everywhere but where you want them to.
TRUE.

OOOHHHH SO TRUE.

None of my ducks (all Pekins) have stuck to the nest for the time it takes them to hatch. Also, just like us with our mechanical incubation, eggs in the nest don't seem to hold closely to a stopwatch or a time card. Figure "about a month" (favoring the short end) and hope for the best @Duckowner12345
