my duck pen

Changed a few things in the pen recently. I put up a tarp for shade, since the pen is in the sun most of the day. But the ducks don't seem to want to go under it! Lol. I added a bigger pool today do they can all get in at the same time. I also made a large waterer out of a bucket.

Nice progress!

Often, ducks dislike large dark things over their heads. I use a gardening row cover. It's white.

That's a good idea. At least the chickens will go under it. The ducks will sometimes. Though this fall I'll be rebuilding the pen on the other side of the yard.
