My duck stop laying eggs !

My ducks have been laying eggs for 6 months straight and all of a sudden stopped.. I feel stupid asking, but i dont know if its from the cold or not laying egg season ? help..

My ducks have been laying eggs for 6 months straight and all of a sudden stopped.. I feel stupid asking, but i dont know if its from the cold or not laying egg season ? help..

If they have been laying straight for 6 months then they are taking a break, they will start back up again but their bodies do need a rest, try upping their protein and give them oyster shell on the side then when they start laying again their bodies will be ready. And alot of duck breeds are seasonal layers too. My Scovies took a break from Oct till Mid Jan. and some still haven't started back up yet.

Thank you, that helps me. I thought it was the seasons but wasnt sure . I was worried they were sick and thats why. now i feel better about it
