Muscovy eggs are like cement. Trying to crack one over a bowl I feel like getting out the hammer.
As for hatching Listen to what the others are saying I rarely let my ducks including my Muscovy hatch [I don't have an incubator my Muscovy is my bator, ]but These eggs are great for baking and giving to friends. Yesterday I scrambled a dozen and fed them to my flock and my dog. So if you can't keep all these ducklings just collect the eggs daily and give them away and bake with them etc. It's sad when so many people hatch ducklings and then advertise and no one wants them especially drakes so many are dumped out somewhere to fend for themselves and many are killed on purpose.
We have to take responsibility for what we do with our flocks and hatching without someone already lined up to take the ducklings just isn't going to work most of the time. Many including @New duck mommy 2021 Hatches for people that want ducklings that is the responsible way to do it.
I hope this little one makes it out, you have experienced members here to help.
