My duckling can't poop!!!!

Just had this happen to both of mine. One died this afternoon. I got the other one pooping again after a warm swim, but now she's stopped again. Doing the poop dance with no results. Anyone know what this is?!?!

I have been all over the internet looking for anything but so far nothing pertaining to ducklings. But if she hasn't
eaten then noting but liquid is going to come out, does she seems in distress other than losing her best bud? I remember someone saying to add a bit of ground oatmeal to their feed it's suppose to help with pasty butt.

Impaction might be a cause, but I don't think your little has been out and about much . . . . could she have ingested something that is blocking her up? I would try a dab of coconut oil. Is she eating?

Ok, update...I just got home. She had 3 more poos and they have some color and some solids, not much but not just water. I still haven't seen her eat, and it doesn't look like she touched the mash I made her. She is snuggling with her teddy bear sleeping now.

Amiga, it is almost like her little vent was sealed shut. No visible poo on her vent or feathers, just sealed shut.The surrounding feathers/fluff were stiff like they way hair gel looks. I think the warm bath helped because she poo'd once in the bath and 3 times right after. She and her late sister were/are on puppy pads and the only food in the brooder is non-medicated chick starter crumbles. I have not given my chicks or ducklings treats yet.

long ago I had a reptile with digestive troubles and part of the solution was bath time to stimulate and strengthen the muscles. Maybe the bath helps her pass poop? Is it some kind of prolapse?
