my duckling has red thing on beak

Hey welcome to BYC! Is it the little overhanging/bump thing what you are worried about? It may look like a different color since it is thinner. It’s called an egg tooth and they use it to break out of their shell.
That's just part of the beak. The egg teeth on is pointier and smaller, with the pointy tip facing up. They lose it within a couple of days.

That part of the beak tends to blend more as the duckling gets older, but they never lose it.

Yeah I know! I was just wondering if that’s what they were worried about! 😊

Welcome to BYC. I'm sure someone who knows ducks, will be along shor

Sorry to waste all of your time you guys, i'm new to ducks and just wanted make sure. I'm extra cautious now that i have lost 3ducklings to some kind of disease. Thank you for your help. I will still put out a better picture though.

Welcome to BYC! As others have said, this is normal, all ducks have them, and it's called a "bean".
