my duckling is a unicorn?

[what was i thinking]

i was wondering if the puff on the head, in a crested, is just feathers or is there skin or something. i had a duckling hatch with the little thing of flesh sticking out of its head. i was worried i would have to cull it.... anyway it is drying off and very strong running around.... but the feathers have turned into a puff on its head.... its it crested or a unicorn? i am getting pics now.

From what I understand, crested ducks actually have a different shaped skull that results in the cresting.

this has like a spike of flesh??? you knows and who cares really, as long as it is healthy.... it's name is magic.... like a unicorn.

I got a surprise crested too!! What kind of duck is that? I got another surprise (I think Runner or Runner-Pekin Mix) that looks just like this one without the crested part!
