My ducklings hatched 4-11. Can they still imprint on ME? *Pics!*

Hi! I just got my little grey Call ducklings today.

They were hatched April 11th. They show no interest in me. There are 12 of them. Do you think they can still imprint on me? My duck did last year and it was really fun. So far they have been raised by humans. What do you think?

They should, just spend a lot of time with them and play with them alot. VERY VERY VERY VEry ccccccccccccccccuuuuuuuuttttttteeeeeeee!!!!!!

Ducklings don't Imprint on one person....

They IMPRINT on a species, so seeing humans first means they imprinted on humans. If they were hatched by a duck or chicken, they would have imprinted on that animal.

They BOND to an indiviual. Spending time with each of them important. Handling them, holding them, sitting with them, talking to them... when they get older let them follow you around the yard....

When you raise so many together, they tend to only be interested in each other, not the human looming over them. lol
