Can he use his legs at all? may just have to love him the way he is unless you can afford to take him to an avain vet and see if they can do something. How about swimming can he swim or use his legs to move around in the water? He looks very special.Please help me figure out what to do with my special baby. He was born with his leg backwards & there was no way I was going to kill him. He had personality from minute one. Now that he is bigger, I have to watch him watch the other ducklings play & it breaks my heart. Plz tell me there is something I can do.
His hip is rotated. I'm thinking a good avain vet maybe able to break the leg and put it right, of course just a guess. do you have a veterinary university [teaching ] close to you? if you don't know check around because sometimes they will do things for free because it's teaching. Sure would be worth checking into. Bless his heart for trying.
