i just got some new ducklings that are now 5 weeks old i just let them outside 2 weeks ago they are ok. but my brother and sister just got a new one each so they are a lot smaller then mine. and my sisters just died so should i put my brothers tiny one in with my big ones or keep in it's cage. i could really use some help!!!!!!!

The bigger ducks might pick on the little guy. My older ducks and ducklings don't get along and I don't trust them together without supervision. There are a lot of helpful tips here on how to keep a single duck happy until he is older or until you can get him a friend. Some people use mirrors, stuffed animals or toys, and try to spend a lot of time with the duckling every day because he will be lonely. I have never done it so this is not out of experience. But definitely don't put the little guy with a group of older ducks.

ok thank you so much for the help I'm just all worked up and stuff because people say they can die of loneliness. so I'm on the internet like 24-7 just researching for this little guy. i tried putting her with the big guys they don't really pick on her only the big drake. the only problem is she gets out of the fence ALL THE TIME!!! cause she is unprinted on my brother so she isn't that lonely i sit out there all day just watching her .my sis. is a little sad cause that was her second duck to die i feel bad LOL. well thanks for all the help.

hey i tried putting stuffed animals in with her and she seems a little bit happier i have one in there and its a bird so i think she thinks its a duck the way she looks at it LOL!!!
