hey, my ducks and chicks are 20 weeks old on sunday do i start them on layer/laying pellets then ?

Hey Daniel!

Haven't seen ya on the forum in awhile!

You can switch them over to layer pellets, they're old enough. Some people like to wait until they start laying but I always start them on pellets around 3-4 months.

At the moment I am feeding my younger chickens and guineas: 4 scoops of wheat seed, 1 scoop of Layer Pellets and 1 scoop of Grower Crumbles.

well i aint got much grower pellets left so i'll use them up then switch them over to layer pellets is this ok ?

What I would do is: Mix the Grower with the Pellets so they can start to get used to the other feed.

okay i'll start doing that tomorrow till im out of grower pellets then thay just have layer pellets then
