My ducks are a comedy team, boy and girl

They are always getting into trouble.
And so tonight they were in bed and it's pitch black in their coop, so I hear a ruckus in the coop, like something was knocking over the audio monitor. I run out there and they are out running around (I corral them with the goose at night so they don't harrass the chickens) I thought ducks couldn't see in the dark???? And to get out of their pen, they have to go from one side to the other and climb over a straw bale. They just make me laugh because I wonder what goes on in those little heads. They are also sneaky. If I hIde food from them they will "plan" a way to sneak over and get to it.
They are so funny and cute and make me laugh often. But I have never had birds that moved around in the dark! LOL

haha I should have but no they are named Cocoa and Nibs LOL because they are brown.

Yeah...that could be fun to watch them weave around and then get up on the hay bale which is pretty tall for them.

Well there ya go! I never knew that because I know chickens are "sitting ducks" in the dark but a duck, since it can't really roost, would need night vision to protect themselves.
My goose doesn't move much at night though but then she was always in a stall until now so maybe she's trained.
Good to know since I am still deciding how to divide my garage into sleeping quarters.
