New to BYC website and am happy to have this be my very first post.

My welsh harlequins arrived last year, as day olds. They arrived in October. They laid eggs and hatched them in August.

My question......as the babies that I have left are 3 months old, will the parents begin to lay a new nest? He is mating again. Does this absolutely mean more babes are on the way this winter? OR do they only lay in spring?

Parents will continue to lay as long as they receive enough nutrition, light and warmth if required. Whether or not they will hatch them depends on how broody your females are. Domesticated ducks do not share very much in common with wild ducks in terms of hatching with the seasons :)
