My ducks butt..?

Hey y'all!

My girls butt looks funny. We are pretty sure she's getting ready to lay.. its been a couple of hours like this. We are not 100% certain and if anyone has seen this before we love your input!

She acts normal, no behavioral changes. Touching the skin it is soft, and below it is hard so she has an egg brewing or ready to come out soon for sure. No discharge, or anything.

She was just in water and mounted before this photo.

Turns out it was EYP. Glad I decided to take her to the vet. She had a very small rotten egg in there that probably started the whole thing. Along with another big one she was ready to pop out.

How is she doing? on antibiotics?

She is doing okay as far as I know. She's at the vet overnight. She tried pooping and her uterus or coelom (not sure) something....came out with her both times she tried. Shes on amoxicillin pills for 20 days and Meloxicam for 2 weeks. I knew when I made that post a month back about feeling two eggs I had a feeling. I'm just glad I decided to take her in before it got worse. I know EYP is no joke.

Vet gave her something to help tighten up the muscles and what not, he took out almost 3 cups of fluid and there is still some left. So I'm sure everything is so stretched out and loose that's why it's coming out when she poops.

Thought she was just fat, which she is. But back in May she was about 5lbs. Weighed her today and she was 6 1/2. I'm curious to see what her weight is after they removed the fluid.
