My ducks compound fracture.

I have 4 week old khaki Campbell ducklings. my daughter was playing ball and stepped on a ducklings leg, causing a compound fracture on the thigh.
I bathed the area with water compress them strapped with what I had in with plenty of polypsporin. Then put her in a box on towels for the night with food n water which she ate n drank with no problems. The next morning after doing a medic supply run, I re-strapped her leg with vetwrap style bandage again plenty of polypsporin. Day 3: the leg is swollen, body warm temperature but foot is cold. Please any advice would be great. Thank you
