It went incredibly well. I lured them to the pond with peas. Once they hit the water - the peas were forgotten. Pond = big hit! My ducks are 8 weeks and 11 weeks old.

I think my Pekins love the camera- I'm just sayin'. :D

A LOT of pictures- warning!

Meet Pearl. My pretty, pale beaked Pekin. <3

One of our Golden 300 ladies. :)

Snickers one of our female Harlequins.

What's up ma? Runners and Pekins andddd one of our 300s. :D

Pond buddy!

Pip (drake) and Petra (female). Pip in front. ;)

All 3 Pekins in one shot. Shake it out Pearl and Pip!

More images in post #3. :D Keep scrolling!

...pic overload continued...

Snickers the Harlequin again. My Maggie May (other Harlequin always had her head in the water)...

Robyn the Runner who thinks she's a Pekin.

I spy with my little eye....do you see it? :)

My Buff drake- Boo.

And then he had to shake out his feathers for the camera. :) Lookin' handsome, Boo!

Group shot. Hanging out under a pond bush where the spigot is trickling out water.

And one last pond buddy.
Our pond is loaded with perch, minnows, bull frogs, tadpoles and yummy bugs. I think this was probably their funnest day ever- what do you think?

...thanks for looking! :D

LOVE the pictures!
I really should get more of my flock on the lake!
Once you encourage them to explore, they love it!
Thank you! My pond is pretty small and not landscaped fancy (very neglected and overgrown but since buying the place we are trying to clean it up as we can) but it's over 100 outside right now and I don't think the ducks are complaining about size. haha!

I just love looking at your pics. I keep showing them to my husband who attempts to be the camera guy!
