My ducks are only about 1-2 weeks old they have just started to have watery diarrhea and hot beaks. They eat normal none medicated crumble chick feed which also states it good for Ducks to eat. They sometimes get to run around in the yard but there is no way they could have gotten into poisons we keep all of that put up and not in our yard. We also have chicks who eat the same food they do and they never have diarrhea. Please help me they also go swimming in a small rubber waterer but it's always clean I clean it out before they swim in it.

I don't let my ducklings swim that young if incubator hatched to easy to get chilled and catch something. Keep them out of water keep them warm and you can try mashing up garlic cloves so you get some of the juice and a little apple cider vinegar to add to there water. Let them stay under lot of they wish . Some chick starter add stuff that's not good for ducklings turkey starter is safer to use for ducklings

They are not incubator hatched and they came from a local Tractor Supply, they do have a heat lamp that goes on them almost every night because it is chilly here at the night time. And they started swimming when they where a week old.

They also are have available water and food 24/7. I was wondering if they may be getting at to much water and that is what is making them have watery diarrhea.

Well water does not hurt chicks as long fuzz is not as they are soaking wet and in drafts . City water might if they put to much chlorine in it or something!

Keep them warm out of drAfts and don't let them swim for a while and try the garlic juice and Apple cider in their waterer. And see how they do .Or take them to vet.
