My ducks killed a snake!

At least I ASSUME they did lol.
My two female calls are currently broody and VERY protective of their eggs. I went down there and the nest is messed up and theres a dead snake in the enclosure! (Looks like it had a struggle and tried to get out)
So from what I saw, I assume they killed the snake. I'm sad about it but I'm happy it wasn't my ducks that died
Fortunately, we got some new wire today so nothing can get in the enclosure from now on!!

Never underestimate a broody duck. Ours messed up a rat that got in our duck hut to the point that he couldn't walk. Lol

In SC we had chickens take out mice and snake and made a snack of them both. For that matter our cats took out a baby snake.

My Muscovy ate a baby copper head, here I am freaking out calling anyone who might know if it would kill her (even the wild life people didn’t know)
She lived to be 15.

I don't have a picture of the snake but it was a black rat snake!
