My ducks seem to like me, but are kinda older than you would think to start imprinting.

So my ducks are about 2 & 1/2 weeks old. I coughed and they all ran up to me and started to go in and out of my legs. I kept coughing (faked it) and they followed me everywhere. This is not what they usually do, they usually just run away from me. Are they to old to imprint on me? Is it imprinting? I did not have food or water or anything else. Of course I enjoy the attention from them, but I thought they were just to old to imprint. So, please answer with what you think [and this just started today too].

My ducks are almost a year old and they still follow me around the yard! What your ducklings are doing seems a little strange but ducks are strange animals .

I heard you need to get them the first week for them to imprint, but thats hearsay =)

Well I did, but they never imprinted....
