My two ducks were seemingly attacked by something last night while I was away from home. They free range and havent had any issues before this. They both stand up and walk around fine and it appears that they mostly have shallow wounds on their head and neck. I am thinking it might have been a hawk, owl, or eagle - all of which are fairly abundant around where I live.
My biggest concern is that they both seem stunned. They havent moved much and arent making their usual Pekin noises. They didnt touch their feed and didnt take much water overnight. I opened the coop this morning and they havent left. Im considering spraying their wounds with wound-spray, but i dont want to stress them even more.
Is there anything i can do? Or do i just have to wait for them to be less shell-shocked?
