My ducks won’t use the ramp I built

I have two 8 week old Rouens. We made them a duck house out of a playhouse and made a ramp for them to go up and down to it from their play area around the duck house. They won’t use the ramp for some reason. We have to pick them up and bring them in and out of their playhouse. I’ve tried doing a trail of food down the ramp but they just eat what they can reach from inside their duck house and then just sit there at the entrance looking out. Why won’t they use the ramp?

Can you post a picture of the ramp?

I have a similar problem. The opening to my coop is up pretty high. Wondering about a solution for mine as well. We currently have donkeys in the pasture where our ramp is which poses a bit of a problems as well since they like to rub on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

defiantly wider. My Muscovy's would probably just leap fly down off. But for protection of legs I would discourage it.
