My Easter Egger, Elsie! Do I need to change her name to Edwin? Hen or Roo? Please help the newbi

This is my most beautiful chicken. My intention was to have all hens but I have a couple in question and I would love somefeed back as to what you think, Hen or Roo?

Roo, the dark red, almost mahogany feathers and the huge red comb are a give away. Sorry

Here we go again! Since that Easter Egger from last Spring turned out to be a Rooster I purchased what I hoped to be an Easter Egger hen just recently but I am starting to suspect I have another rooster. I can't identify any saddle feather yet but it has exhibited some behaviors and my full grown rooster has gone after it like he would a predator or another rooster. Kind of makes me think my big Roo knows something I don't. Any opinions?

Thanks for the feedback. Nothing about its appearance says rooster to me but its only eight weeks or so. My big roo went after it with his feet instead of pecking and the juvenile attacked a wild dove that ended up in the run. Just not sure what to think at this point.

Thanks for the reply! Thankfully if it is a rooster I have someone who will wants him. It is a beautiful bird so I would hate to give it up but I can't have another roo!

You can tell because of how long the tail feathers are, and at only 8 weeks how red the comb over is.
