My Easter egger is sitting funny!

My EE is 21 almost 22 weeks old. She has been squatting for about 2 weeks now. This morning when I went to check on my flock, I noticed Flappy sitting like a dog. She is eating fine. Walking normal, but I catch her sitting like is a few time a day. She has not lay any eggs yet. Is this a sign that she will soon, or do I have a problem on my hands?

That isn't normal hen behavior. I don't know what it indicates, but I would give her a thorough exam. Check her feet first for any swelling or black blisters on the bottom or top. Check her legs. Do you see any green splotches, indicating bruising or even a broken leg.

What is her poop like? You need to watch that for worms, or blood or green matter, indicating a serious disease.

What does her crop feel like? Empty at night before roosting? Indicates sickness. Full and squishy first thing before she gets off the perch? May indicate sour crop.

I advise compiling a complete list of symptoms and posting on the Emergencies forum.

I checked her all over this morning. Nothing is wrong with her feet, no cuts, scraps nothing at all. She hasn't do the weird sit today. And no egg

I wouldn't worry about it then. It was probably just a one-time event, and who knows why she decided to sit down dog style.
