I had a broody hen that was sitting on a clutch of eggs. She started sitting while we were on vacation so I wasn't sure of the exact hatch date. I candled the eggs last week and figured 4 of them to be around 17 days and another 3 to be earlier than that. This morning I went out to do the daily chicken chores and found 2 cute fuzzy heads peeking out at me! I couldn't be more happier!! I had no idea what kinds they would be because my flock consists of Silkies and Belgian D'uccles...I have one of each!
