My EE barely has a tail, Male of female?

This little guy or girl barely has a tail and is smaller than all of my other pullets, is he a boy or girl?

Looks like a boy to me.

At 8 weeks some of my pullets had some pink to their combs and curved tail feathers.

This one could go either way, need to give it a few more weeks!

dunno about sex - but is that really an EE? I have some splash Ams that look just like that. I guess I can't tell your chick's leg colors...

Where did you get it? It does seem to be a splash Ameraucana, not an EE. Leg color is right.

He/she came from Cackle Hatchery, so it has to be an EE, its legs are blue its the only one out of 5 that I ordered with blue legs and small tail, the other ones are just regular EE's

I doubt it Cackle hatchery has pure bred Ameraucanas, at first I thought maybe an Araucana cuz he/she didnt showed a tail for a long time.

Well, if it's from Cackle, I'd say EE, but it could pass for an Ameraucana from the pics. If the comb is that red at 8 weeks, I'd say male.
