My EE let me down...

My EE 'Cooper' laid her first egg....LIGHT TAN!!! I am so disappointed.

She has all the Americana characteristics: big muffs, beard and slate legs. I so wanted a green egg. Oh well, they will taste great.

Practice makes perfect! Give her lots of praise and she'll do better eventually.

Never know about those EE's. We have one that is brown, with a breard and muff, yellow legs and looks like an odd RIR. Lays a camo green egg just about every day. She's a machine.

Most of my EEs lay pinkish brown eggs too. I do have a couple of green layers that change it up for me.
