MY EE RAN AWAY-ALMOST

I almost lost my EE.It was hiding in the front yard.How do you stop them from running away??

You don't, without a fence, although if they have learned where their coop is, they will return to it at night, as a rule. You may have one who is being bullied -- or more likely I think, who is wanting to go broody, make a hidden clutch of eggs, and hatch some chicks. One of my best broodies is an EE.
