Here is the finished coop, made on an old tralier, I have some more pics somewhere, of the construction and such, when I find them, I will update it

The little doors open up into the nest boxes to retrieve the eggs easily

Adorable and clever! You can pull the trailer down the street like an ice cream truck and sell eggs. I'd play the chicken dance music to lure the customers. lol. j/k Great job!

Thank you! and LOL Mountianchick, that's an awesome idea! I love the chickendance music!! It is movable and towable, we plan to move it around our property as needed, to spread the chicken love (aka poo)

I've been scheming on that idea for a while. I've seen some large wagons used for organic chickens coops in some pastures around here. I was thinking a expanded metal floor to dispense the poop. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a used trailer!!

Yes, we used expanded metal on the floor for just that reason, but we also have panels that we can lay down on the floor, when we need to keep out the cold, works great so far!
