My egg started peeping but not pipping yet.

2 days ago my poult started to peep inside its egg today I havent heard anything or seen any pipping. Could the poult be resting? How much longer?

Generally they can start peeping two days before hatch. What day are they on?

Maybe they couldn't pip the shell? Possibly suffocated in the air cell? Many reasons for bad hatching.
