but on a couple the cracks were not too bad so I covered them with a little wax... We'll see, won't hurt to try right?

I'm so excited!! I'm letting them rest and will stick them in tonight! My first experience with incubation and with quail eggs! I haven't seen a quail egg in over 10 years and I forgot how tiny they are! Wish me luck!!!

For some reason my computer won't cooperate... I'll post more pics later!

Nice!

Good job on the bator too!
My only suggestion is to cover the open fan with some kind of screen, trust me . . .

And might even tape the loose wires to the sides, out of the way.

Good Luck on the hatch, 18 days goes by quick- be ready!
Im settin 60 JUMBOS tonight at midnight myself!

Will do and will do!! Thanks! You know, when I first set it up the wires were all taped to the sides, but then I had to move the thermostat closer to the light to lower the swing in temps... then completely forgot to tape em back up!

I had been wondering about the fan too, thinking, Ah, they'll be ok... I guess not though! I'd love to hear your story!

Mrs. FP, Thanks! I did make it myself and am very proud, I told one of my friends about it and said... "I had to work with wiring... I could have died."
