When recently selling some of my marans eggs I recieved the comment "wow, those are small, your flock must be real young...do these even hatch?".......Ive sold several dozen this year- these two girls areinto their second year laying and Ive had some pretty good numbers hatching them myself, but this kinda made me start to wonder- does anyone know the average size of a marans egg? they are smalled than my EEs, but those things tend to look more like torpedos to me anyway!......hmmmm
